Summer house on the beach

Reconstruction of a one-story house in the charming region of Ragusa, in the south of Sicily. The project assumed the creation of a leisure and weekend space for the family and guests. The building is located a few steps from a private beach, which has been complemented by a sliding glass wall in the living area, from which there is a view of the sea. In order to properly expose the picturesque location, a terrace was designed on the roof, accessed by an external, sculptural staircase. Bedroom zones have been combined with an intimate green atrium. The entire layout refers to the Mediterranean style, which has been additionally emphasized by the use of natural, local materials.
