A farmhouse-style house situated in the picturesque scenery of the Hyżne-Gwoźnica Protected Landscape Area. The design draws from the tradition of regional architecture – both through its external form with a characteristic half-hipped roof, and through the interiors, where massive wooden ceiling beams have been exposed. The façade made of green timber boards harmoniously fits into the rural and forest surroundings, emphasizing the building’s connection with the local landscape. The investors wanted to achieve maximum daylight inside, therefore the house was equipped with numerous glazed elements, also in the attic, including a distinctive round window in the front dormer. The whole is complemented by the entrance accentuated with a porch and a veranda adjoining the living room, from which there is a view of the mountains.
